• Coming Distractions” (p. 177-186)  
• Vocabulary:entertaining, promote, focus, advertise, jolts, critics, target, thrilling, angles, generated
• Wednesday : Journey’s quiz over Coming Distractions – Open Book – Students may use their vocabulary list, their journey’s textbooks, glossaries/dictionaries.
• Please continue to read nightly with your child their 20 minutes.  They have a reading log that goes with the “Book-It” pizza, and also they will have a reading log they have to fill out this week.
