Hello everyone!
It’s so hard to believe the first six weeks of school has come and gone. Just wanted to let you know report cards will go out next Thursday, October 6th, and also you will get their papers from the first six weeks.
Also, be on the lookout for a parent conference form coming home. My conference day is October 13th.
Starting this six weeks in Math we will be working on multiplication. Students must memorize all their facts through 12′s. We are still working on our novel in reading, A Paradise Called Texas. It is a great book that ties in with our Social Studies.
Hopefully, now that FALL has arrived we will feel some cooler weather!! Looking forward to a great second six weeks.
Parent Orientation for 4th Grade will Monday, September 12th from 5:30 – 6:15. Hope to see you there!

April 6, we had a very special visitor named Molly who came to White Oak Intermediate School to teach us the importance of milk in keeping our bodies healthy. Be sure to ask your third or fourth grade student about what they learned from her. A very special thanks goes to the Southwest Dairy Farmers for providing this free and very informational service to our youngsters!!!!
