Students still need to continue 30 minutes of daily reading!

FYI:  4th Grade Field Day is May 6th.  Parents are invited to attend, and students may leave with parents afterwards.

Journey’s – Riding Freedom –  (TB pages 407-416) This is the story we will be reading this week and focusing on.  There will be no vocabulary test or comprehension tests over the story.  Instead we will be doing an adjective activity along with comparing/contrasting the characters.

In Social Studies we will begin our study on Major Rivers.  This will be covered for the next few weeks.

Spirit of Iron Novel – We will continue reading our novel and working on these TEKS: Character compare/contrast, summarizing, fact/opinion, and Cause/effect.

We still have many things to cover before these students head to 5th grade.  Please continue to have them at school on time and ready to work!  Thank you so much for your help!
