HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Welcome back students!   It’s going to be a great semester!  It’s hard to believe we are in a new year, and I know we will all blink and May will be here.   I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas, and my prayer is that you will have a healthy and happy new year!   

Here are a few things coming up:

Tomorrow begins the 3rd 9 weeks:  There will be no reading logs this week, but they will start again on Monday, January 14th.  Students are still required to read their 20 minutes at night.  Parents, please sign their planners for me to show they read.  Students earn tickets for your signature, but also get a mark if their planners are not signed.  So, please have them read, and don’t forget to help them by signing your name!

Wednesday, January 9th – MATH BENCHMARK!

Thursday, January 10th – READING BENCHMARK!   **Students may bring a healthy snack and a water bottle for both days of testing.   Also, on Thursday, report cards will go home.   

Monday, January 21st – MLK Holiday – No school!

Wednesday, January 23rd – EARLY RELEASE TODAY! 12:00 for Intermediate students – Faculty PLC day.
